Nigel Dorothy extends you a warm welcome to the
Crossways Inn Web Site.
The Crossways is a 17th Century Coaching Inn that
offers plentiful yet intimate space in which to
relax, eat and drink.
Nigel has recently taken the reins from Mike and Anna and continues to run the pub in the same spirit as they did over the past 34 years.

All food served in the Crossways is prepared from
fresh ingredients by our own chefs. Our selection
of dishes range from traditional and local pies and
stews to more exotic recipes from around the world.
Meat from locally raised stock, fish from British
waters and poultry from Somerset farms feature in
our grills and roasts. A sample of our menu is
available here. If all that is not
enough to get your mouth watering, we also
serve a succulent traditional Sunday roast
lunch at a very reasonable price.
Live music, themed meals, and unusual competitions
are regular events at the Crossways Inn. Take a
look at the news and events pages to see what
will happen next. From conkers and Beaujolais
in Autumn, to Easter Egg decorating in the
Spring there is always something to entertain
you here. For your listening pleasure we
regularly have live jazz, opera, blues, or
gaelic music performed by both professionals
and customers. For a quieter time we have a
dining room and bar away from the main pub
room and a secluded garden for the warmer
months.
There are 4 rooms available for overnight
accommodation starting from under £30 including an
excellent cooked breakfast. The Crossways is only a
few miles from the sea and close to attractions
such as Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar Gorge and
Glastonbury Tor. The Inn is close to the M5, making
it ideal as a stopping off point on a trip to Devon
or Cornwall.
If you enjoy real drink, real food and real people,
you will enjoy the Crossways Inn. Whether you are
looking for a quiet intimate meal for two with an
excellent bottle of wine or a refreshing pint of
real ale with a friendly crowd of like minded
people, you will find them here.
